Privacy
Quill runs entirely on your own computer. It has no account and no telemetry — it sends us nothing about you or your book. The only connections it ever makes are optional, and they are downloads, not uploads: a check for updates and any language packs you choose — plain file fetches from our own server. Like any web request they arrive with an IP address, and nothing from your files.
When Quill checks for updates, the request includes your license ID and app version so the update server can confirm your purchase is in good standing. Your writing is never part of an update check.
For this website and for anything you send us through the form above, the data controller is Mauricio Longo (Brazil). What you send is stored with our hosting provider (Cloudflare) and used only to reply to you and, if you ask for the beta, to send you a build. It is never shared or used for marketing. Ask, and we will delete it.
When you buy Quill, your order is processed by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record. Paddle takes the payment and handles the billing and tax data under its own privacy policy; we never see or store your card details. From a completed order we receive and keep only your email address and a license record — enough to deliver your license, send the updates you ask for, and support you. We never use it for marketing, and — as above — ask, and we will delete it.
This website keeps simple visitor statistics — which pages are read, where visitors arrive from, and which country they are in — through Cloudflare Web Analytics and StatCounter. We use them only to understand how people find Quill. We run no advertising trackers, and nothing here follows you across other sites. Cloudflare Turnstile guards the forms against bots.
